iPhone 16: All the rumors so far
The leaker has now shared images purportedly showing the significantly thinner bezels. In a new post on X, they commented, “iPhone 16 Pro Max vs. iPhone 15 Pro Max: The increasingly narrow bezel is very much to my taste. However, the dynamic island should be reduced.
The images reveal what is purported to be the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro side by side. While a slight reduction in bezel size might seem insignificant, the difference is strikingly noticeable—the 16 Pro mock-up looks significantly sleeker with its much narrower bezel.
Of course, if you put the iPhone in a case, as many people do, the front lip might cover that subtle change in bezel size. However, that’s not the main point. Striving to make an iPhone look even better than the previous model is a worthwhile ambition.
If the next iPhone truly has the thinnest bezels of any smartphone ever, you can bet Apple will highlight this in its marketing. Ice Universe has shared four different images on X, showcasing various bezel sizes. The thinner bezels have a more appealing look.

Previously, there were rumors that Apple encountered yield issues with this technology. While it’s hard to imagine bezels getting much thinner, Apple seems poised to claim the “world’s narrowest” title from Samsung.
Every little improvement helps. If the new Pro models feature larger displays as predicted (6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.7 inches for the Pro Max), thinner bezels could make them more comfortable to hold.
Not everyone is excited about these changes. One person commented to Ice Universe, “I’ll never understand this need. Never.” The leaker responded, “You don’t care about bezels, but if I give you a design like the Galaxy A54, you will dislike it at first sight.
We currently have no pricing rumors for the iPhone 16, so it’s reasonable to assume that Apple might stick to an $800 price for the entry-level model, with Pro models ranging from $1,000 to $1,100. Specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro is rumored to feature a 1.2mm bezel, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max would have a slightly thicker 1.15mm bezel. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro boasts a 1.71mm bezel.
IPHONE 16: POSSIBLE SPECS
