New Delhi: An FIR has been filed against CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, Kangana Ranaut Slapped By CISF Constable following allegations that she slapped Bollywood actress and newly-elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh Airport. The incident reportedly occurred a day before the FIR was registered, on Friday.
Kaur has been charged by the Mohali Police under sections 323 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), both of which are bailable offenses. No arrest has been made yet, according to officials, and the FIR stemmed from a complaint filed by the CISF.
In a video message, Ranaut claimed she was struck and verbally abused by a constable during a security check at Chandigarh airport, leading to a heated altercation. Farmer organizations have voiced support for the CISF woman constable in response to the incident.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable was initially detained and subsequently suspended after Kangana informed CISF officials upon her arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. She claimed that she had been slapped and abused by a woman constable at Chandigarh Airport before boarding her flight to Delhi.
